Dhiiraati Nakshatra Nite will be bigger and better this year

Kampar, Jun 14 - Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Perak Campus, Indian Cultural Language Society (ICLS) is coming back with a ‘bang’ through upcoming mega cultural event Dhiiraati Nakshatra Nite 5.0 which is just around the corner. Dhiiraati Nakshatra Nite 4.0 which was organised last year was indeed a rewarding success for the committee which encouraged them to organise it in a bigger scale this year with more goodies, local talents performance, and also professional Kollywood singer, Haricharan featuring Sennet and the Band.
The main focus of this event is to do charity where the fund raised from the event will be contributed to three needy families in Kampar (2 Indian Families and 1 Chinese Family).The fund will be also contributed to two non-governmental organizations(NGO) which are Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak and Persatuan Daybreak in Ipoh. The expected target audience for this mega event is roughly about 1200 people where the tickets are currently being sold at Block C and Block K for RM40 exclusively for UTAR students only and RM60 for outsiders where foods and drinks will be provided along with lucky draw contest, prizes worth RM1000 to be given.
The event will be held at the Pei Yuan Hall (Kampar Old Town) on August 5 sharp 6.30pm. The promoting strategy for this event is going on well so far where the committee have already sold tickets worth RM1200 in Ipoh during their visit and are planning to hit Kuala Lumpur this Sunday July 16 in three different locations such as Little India Brickfields, NU Sentral, and Klang from 10am to 5pm.
This event is also providing platform for young talents from UTAR to take part in the audition to showcase their respective talents which will be conducted in July 18 6.30pm to 8.30pm at H121.
