"There were practical (in the course structure), but it is not enough," says him.
Other than being launched, J-On also improvise their aim and goals to serve not only UTARians but also local community in Kampar.
"We are trying to express more on community news" says Carmen Lee, J-On current chief editor.

Different to the previous trend, J-On will now will focus more on community issues rather than event reporting.
She also added, "We also become more news oriented rather than become a platform for event promotion or advertising."
Aside of become a local news source for Kamparians, J-On also has an alternate purpose for serving the locals.
"Based on our surveys, we found out that some Kamparians see UTARians as trouble makers. So, we wish to change the perceptions by informing the locals about charity events and community services that we had conducted for the locals."

The launching and talks started around 10 am and ended at 4pm.
