People love Lei Cha: No Longer Exclusive for Hakkas

Kampar: Lei Cha is a traditional food which is originated from Hakka culture. It is a traditional rice dish that brims with tofu and variety of vegetables. Most of the Hakka like to take Lei Cha as breakfast where the dish has almost no fat and it is a healthy food that soothed the stomach early in the morning.
The scrumptious rice dish was used to be known in Hakka culture; but it is now getting famous among the Malaysian when Lei Cha was revived among the young generation when the Sarawak Hopo Association (SHA) has declared every May 1 as Lei Cha Festival Day.
During the festival day, the Hakkas will prepare plenty of Lei Cha and there are many people who come from different dialect and even different ethic will come and try on it. It is no longer exclusive for Hakkas as it is getting famous among the Malaysian.
