Serge Aurier…21 games for PSG last season

Ivory Coast defender desperately wants to leave Paris now Dani Alves has arrived to threaten his first-team chances.

PAUL POGBA is reportedly piling the pressure on Jose Mourinhgo to sign Paris Saint Germain defender Serge Aurier.

Goal suggests that right-back Aurier wants to leave PSG with the arrival of Dani Alves likely to affect his first-team chances.

Inter Milan are thought to be interested in the Ivory Coast international, with Tottenham and Juventus also in the hunt.

But Pogba, a close friend of Aurier, is pressing Mourinho to sign the 24-year-old.

PSG boss Unai Emery left Aurier out of the squad which travelled to the United States for the International Champions Cup.

Emery confirmed this was for transfer reasons.

He told L’Equipe: “I spoke with Serge to tell him that I wanted him to stay.

“He told me that he wants to leave and he preferred staying in Paris to prepare for his departure.”

Mourinho, meanwhile, is on the hunt for a right-back, with Matteo Darmian being linked with a move to Juventus.

United are in the US where they beat neighbours City 2-0 in a friendly on Thursday day night.

Romelu Lukaku added to his goal in Salt Lake City by scoring a stylish opener against Pep Guardiola’s men.
