"Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Kampar, July 30 - Inspired by the quote, Mr. Ko Chuan Zhen the co-founder and executive director of +SOLAR, a Malaysian based EPC company was one of the speakers at Tycoon Expo alongside Dato' Calvin Khiu, CEO and founder of top one in the curtain industry, MK Curtain and OldTown Berhad's co-founder Mr. Goh Ching Mun.

Organized by Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES), the expo was held at Heritage Building here at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. The event aims to raise awareness and spread the knowledge of entrepreneurship to UTAR students. The combination of talk and exhibition has attracted around 350 students to attend the event.

To ensure the attendees experience the concept of entrepreneurship, the organizing team came up with a creative way to present their event booklet by turning it into a briefcase. The briefcase indicates that it's your first day at work and the contents were the company's profile( Event flow), speakers' documents(background of speakers) and big bosses' names(event sponsors).

"Our publicity department together with 20 plus committees took around 2 days to complete cutting and pasting the booklet all together. We worked until 5AM and woke up at 1PM to continue." quoted by a Publicity assistant who refused to be named because it was everyone's effort and he/she wants to give credit to the whole team instead.

The event started with speeches by Y.E.S chairman Mr. Wong Jun Ken, Tycoon Expo chairman Mr. Siow Kuai Qing and Prof. Dr. Chong Chee Keong. Later, the six VIPs stuck the words T-Y-C-O-O-N to initiate the opening ceremony of the event.

Year three finance student Li Ying, who was from the decoration department that came up with the idea said

"Initially we wanted the VIPs to attach a tie to the suit that was on the board, but after we were informed that six VIPs will be attending the event, we decided to come up with a new idea which is to attach the alphabets that made up the word 'Tycoon' to initiate the opening ceremony of the event."

Speaker, Mr. Ko Chuan Zhen, co-founder of +solar mentioned in his talk that he was an engineering student who do not like engineering but is the boss of an engineering company. He then explained what sparked his first interest on solar technology. It was a final year project title that draws his interest to this industry.

He then, further explained by saying for a car parked under the hot sun, it should have solar car ventilation so that after a few hours you can no longer feel the heat in the car. This was the moment where he felt that he has found his strength and it was also his first time with solar technology.

His first experiment was by using his parent's Proton Iswara and changing the wiring as well as taking out the speakers to put in a fan ventilation system that are able to lower down the heat.

Ever since then, his efforts in the solar industry earned him the title of Sin Chew Business Excellent award- Young/Emerging Business Excellent award in 2015. .

Followed after were the talk by Dato' Calvin Khiu and Mr Goh Ching Mun. The event ended with a lucky draw session where the grand prize is a air flight ticket worth RM500!
